📖 How Background Removal Works

Upload a photo with a plain background

Works best with solid color backgrounds (white, blue, grey). The algorithm samples corner pixels to detect the background color.

Adjust tolerance

Higher tolerance removes more pixels (good for gradients/shadows). Lower tolerance is precise (good for sharp edges).

Choose replacement background

Transparent PNG for use in designs. White for passport photos. Blue/green for ID cards.

Download PNG

PNG preserves transparency. Use "Add to Print" to combine with the A4 print layout tool.

📖 How to Use the Photo Tool

Upload your photo

Drag and drop or click to upload. Works with JPG, PNG, WebP photos from your phone or camera.

Choose a photo size preset

Select Passport (35×45mm), US Passport (51×51mm), Visa, ID card, School photo, or enter any custom dimensions in mm.

Crop your photo

Drag on the preview to select the area you want. The aspect ratio locks to match your chosen photo size. Use "Auto crop to ratio" to crop the center automatically.

Resize & download

Click "Crop & Resize" to produce the final photo at the exact pixel dimensions for printing at 300 DPI.

Print multiple on A4

Go to the "Print on A4" tab. Choose how many photos fit — the tool calculates and arranges them with cut guides. Click Print or download as image to take to a photo lab.
